Message These would be items that you could remove 'on the fly' and very easily, without permanently altering something:

1. Passenger Seat (~50-70 lbs? manual vs. power) only 4 nuts.

2. Spare tire and hardware (~35 lbs ?)

3. That flat wooden board piece that covers the spare. (~3 lbs?)

4. The rear hatch carpet & floor mats (~7 lbs ?)

5. Unbolt and remove the (2) muffler sections (track only use) ~40 lbs(?)

6. Tow hooks(10-15 lbs?)

7. Next time you get a battery, don't get those MILLION CCA or whatever batts. Get something much lower and smaller and LIGHTER. (5-15 lbs.)

So your TOTAL MINIMUM weight savings would be = ~110 lbs.

Now, if you throw in the discarded muffler sections for track plus the HIGHER weight figures I mentioned above, should be = ~185 lbs.

*Remember figures are close estimates and these are items that you can quickly throw away and does NOT include things like flywheels & driveshafts because you may already have those done(?) etc...
